BCBSA offers a 401k plan, financial planning tools and assistance to help you save and plan for your retirement.

BCBSA offers a Tax Favored Savings Plan for eligible employees. This plan enables you to contribute a percentage of your earnings toward pre-tax retirement savings.  For new employees hired after December 31, 2006, BCBSA will match 100% of eligible pay you contribute upon your enrollment. BCBSA’s matching contributions will be 20% vested for each year of service accumulated, up to 100%.

Pre-retirement Workshop

BCBSA arranges workshops for employees who are interested in beginning to think about retirement in the near future. We invite a variety of speakers who provide helpful planning information, and to help maximize the quality of life for the retirement years.
